FOR THE LOVE OF WIDE LEG PANTS: culottes × peplum

Culottes, gauchos, full-legged cropped pants—whatever you call them—the retro silhouette of many ‘a childhood wardrobe is having a serious fashion moment right now. These voluminous  pants may not be your favourite style of pants, but LEEMA is having fun in them lately. It took me a while to get used to the shape and length of these pants, but lately I have been wearing them in a row/constantly/day after day. Which am sure a lot of people "My course mates " are tired of seeing. *tongue out*.

Maybe you were not an early adopter of the culotte trend, but through repeated exposure and soul-searching, you've been worn down to the point of purchasing a pair. Now what? You can make these pants with feminist origins work for a day at the office, you can style them for a dressy night out.

Choosing the Right Shoes for Your Culottes Isn’t Hard.
Now that you've fully embraced culottes into your life, the question remains: What shoes to wear with them? Choosing the right pair of heels or flats can seem pretty intimidating, especially if you're on the petite side and fear looking stumpy. When models wear culottes they are often styled with heels, but you can absolutely wear them with flats. Of course, your leg line won’t look quite as long because heels add height.
First: Don't forget to tailor them. If you prefer to show more leg, have them hit where the calf starts; if you want a longer silhouette, hem them toward the bottom of the calf. Then you'll find that nearly everything from slides to pumps to platforms can work, depending on the pants.
More of a jeans-and-sneakers type? There's a culotte for that too.
