Dashiki is a loose, often colorfully patterned, pullover garment originating in Africa and worn chiefly by men. The name Dashiki is derived from the Hausa word "danshiki", which means shirt. It is usually worn with a brimless Kufi cap which is worn in Islamic communities in Africa and the African diaspora, and a pair of pants.

Thanks to WIZKID for bringing back our tradition when he wore dashiki in his music video 'show me the money' some people starting calling the cloth show me the money. I was at a shop the other day and over heard some gals asking the shop guy, do you have show me the money? It was so funny buh mehn it is called DASHIKI.  Rihanna was also spotted rocking the dashiki and if you have olamide 'BADOO' on your instagram page then you will know he also loves this piece, have spotted him wearing different shades of it. lemme not bore you with my long story. here are different ways you can rock your dashiki.
The first look, you can rock it with a straight pencil skirt.

here is a second way to style your dashiki

owk! you have that impromptu owanbe and you don't know what to wear? you can style your dashiki with a velvet wrapper and gele, you are good to go..........................................................................

you can also style it with a maxi skirt

This last pic won't be possible without the help of this little man. the way he screamed 'I did it after' after taking the shot was amazing!!!  tanks dear! this is him receiving a hi five job well

hope you all love this post? don't forget to drop your comment. XOXO
