WORLD HIJAB DAY

One of the many questions that  been asked is why does Islam make hijab mandatory for women? Islam has introduced hijab as part of the decency and modesty in interaction between members of the opposite sex. Chapter 33, verse 59 of the holy QURAN gives a very good reason; it says,

“This is more appropriate so that they may be known [as Muslim women] and thus not be harassed [or molested]".
Men, whether they confess it or not, are slaves of lust and desire.
•Hijab protects women from such men; it symbolizes that she has been sanctified to one man only and is off-limit to all others.
•Hijab contributes to the stability and preservation of marriage and family by eliminating the chances of extramarital affairs.
Finally, it compels men to focus on the real personality of the woman and de-emphasizes her physical beauty. It puts the woman in control of strangers’ reaction to her.
I am surprised at the society which shows tolerance towards those who would like to go around topless but finds it difficult to tolerate a lady who by her own choice wants to observe hijab! Neither does the hijab prevent a woman from acquiring knowledge or from contributing to the betterment of human society.
Hijab is not oppression but freedom from evil eyes!
Classy is when a woman has everything to flaunt but chooses not to show it!

Thank you all for coming out.May Allah SWT reward us all and make things easy for us. #MashaAllah sisters! And thanks to the Christian girl that tried the hijab on. You sure look good in hijab!
We can't deny the fact that there are still discrimination among Muslim sisters.Hope this writeup below will inspire someone today! Do have a great week ahead and a blessed February lovelies IN SHA ALLAH *XOXO*

O you the ummah of Muhammed!
Why are you discriminating among yourself?
Why do you want to break the bond that has been created by the most beloveth person on earth.

O you my sister on hijab, jilbab and Niqab!
Don’t let your present status lead you astray,
Remember not all that glisters are gold,
Not everyone of you was born and brought up in a home of hijab, jilbab and niqab
You are all once on short dresses, small or no veil…

O you my sister on hijab, jilbab and Niqab!
Remenber the favour of your rabb on you,
You are not what you are today by your wish,
Its by the mercy and favour of your Rabb on you,
So don’t let shaytan take control of your heart
Put down pride and see your fellow sisters on veil as same as you…

O you my beloved sisters on small veil or no veil
Don’t look down on yourself
Believe nobody is better than you
But.. And BUT…Think and reflect on the mercies of your rabb on you.
Is this not enough to obey HIS command?

O you my beloved sisters on small veil or no veil
You are like a rose in full bloom
You possess a sweet scent of perfume
You blossom with beauty and a captivating physique
You have a sense of charm that is alluring

O you my beloved sisters on small veil or no veil
With these trails you have been blessed with
Be with it and do what is best
Wakeup from your trace
Don’t be deceived or carry away by the western world
Shield yourself from evil glance cast and your cover up yourself

O you my beloved sisters on small veil or no veil!
do not adorn yourself as does the west
do not be pressured by your environment or peer
Allah is the one who you should fear
So wear your DIGNIFIED HIJAB with love and respect
