AWWWW! i MISS my baby addy...i remember the day this picture was taken by my good friend REALEST, it was one of the best and fastest shoots done by me...i love this picture so much cos its smells HAPPINESS, LOVE and FAMILY and like BABA Desmond Tutu said "The only people who truly know your story, are the ones who help you write it"  and i have written a couple of stories with my friend turn sister LEEMA ...and guess what.????The blog would be 2 years by next month # YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE# so why not start a countdown in no particular order. For today we are going way back to some of the memorable moments of the blog from our Lagos visit ( ESSENCE 2016) to CELEBRATING NAIJA@ 50 to our BLOGGERVASARY ETC.

Female Infanticide, Female Genital Mutilation, Rape, Child or forced Marriage, Lack of Education, Women receiving less pay than their male counterparts.....etc this are but a few of examples of the unfair treatment that women face in the society and like i said before i would be talking about the topics we treated on the program NJAPF in full NOT JUST A PRETTY FACE  which is advocating for the rights of women and girls in Nigeria.

I look at this picture and i see two BEAUTIFUL,STRONG AND INTELLIGENT women who plan to change the world in their own way by BEING BOLD which is this years theme of the INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY #BEBOLDFORCHANGE so today's post would be talking a little about the day and also on a the topic GENDER INEQUALITY( episode 6 of NOT JUST A PRETTY FACE)

FRIDAY FOOD FOR THOUGHT

When people act shady, allow them. When people betray your trust, allow them. But never, ever sink to their level. Their choices are a direct reflection of who they are, not who you are. No matter how angry , hurt or disappointed you may be do not allow them to make you bitter. BE BETTER, React with love. Sometimes that means retaliating with understanding and compassion, other times it means retaliating with acceptance or sheer silence.

helllooo lovelies!!!it's a countdown to my birthday and one of my goals is to contribute more to the blog, Leema has been so understanding and i thank God for that #blowing kisses to her # For today i would be talking on a project i did last for 24 weeks which was full of fun moments...eating amala, staying late in the studio, meeting people ( though i didn't meet any cute guys) and some sleepless nights because nothing good comes easy.

Happy New Month to you!!! I am particular about this month because its my BIRTH MONTH and i would love for everyday to be very special, from my daily activities to my thoughts to how i go about achieving my goals.
